Notice of Nondiscrimination

The Fairborn City School Board is committed to nondiscrimination with regard to sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, race, national origin, disability, religion, ancestry, age, marital status, pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions, or status as a veteran, in employment or in its programs and activities. This commitment will prevail in all of its policies and practices concerning staff, students, educational programs and services, and individuals and entities with whom the Board does business.

Complaints of discrimination or harassment in violation of School Board policies should be filed with the person holding the following position:

A complaint should be submitted by any student or employee who believes he or she has been the victim of discrimination or harassment prohibited by law. The allegation should be reported as soon as possible of the occurrence. Further, an employee or student who has knowledge of conduct which may constitute discrimination or harassment should report such conduct to the Division Level Officer or to any school personnel. All complaints will be addressed promptly, with further investigation conducted where needed to confirm facts or resolve disputed facts.
