Our goal with the finance site is to communicate our financial operations to you, the citizens, staff, and students of the Fairborn City School District.
The Treasurer's Office oversees all of the financial operations of the District. The department is responsible for all accounting, payroll, insurances, forecasting, budgeting, investing, as well as all State, Federal and Local financial reporting requirements of the District. The Treasurer/CFO here also oversees EMIS reporting to ODE. The District is audited annually by the Auditor of State and the audit reports are available on this site as well as the Auditor of State's website. The District is pleased to have received the Auditor of State's Clean Audit Award for five years in a row!
The Treasurer serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the District and reports directly to the Board of Education. In addition, the Treasurer also serves as Secretary to the Board of Education. In this role, the Treasurer's office holds all contracts, documents and the official minutes of all Board of Education meetings.
