Virtual Learning Updates

Fairborn City School Virtual Learning Families,

Thank you for your patience as we navigate the Edmentum (6-12) and Lincoln Learning (K-5) platforms for students learning from home in the Virtual Learning Option.  Our guiding principles for this year are:  Patience, Flexibility and Grace as we chart this new territory of virtual learning.

Thanks to two of our terrific TSAs, Jason Skidmore and Rebekah Fultz, we have a site for Edmentum and Lincoln Learning that will serve as a resource to you for new information and links to each TSAs homepage. Teachers are in the process of building their home page  The link can be found on the Fairborn Website under the Schools/Virtual tab, click Virtual and then select Lincoln Learning (K-5th grades) or Edmentum (6th-12th grades).

Here are the direct links to the learning platforms if you want to save them on your computer. Please know that the most efficient method of communicating with you is through the website and email. We asked that you look for information on the websites when you have questions.

Log-ins

We encourage you to watch for an email from your TSA regarding where & how to log in. We hope that all students will have their accounts activated by Friday (9/4) or over the weekend.  Please try to login once you get this information.  If you are not able to log in, please email your TSA. The TSAs will virtually meet with students on Tuesday regardless of whether your students have been able to log in to their learning system. Look for an invitation link to the Google meeting.

With the possibility of unforeseen technical difficulties, we want you to know we are committed to addressing them as quickly as possible. We also have received questions regarding the lesson format and pacing, workload, and submission of work to TSAs. We are working to provide more information regarding coursework and make adjustments as needed.

We sincerely appreciate your support and dedication to your child’s education. We value your partnership in promoting the success of all students.
