Over the past ten months, The Fairborn City School District has worked to develop a brand refresh for the school district. The brand re-fresh includes new academic and district wide logos and specific guidelines for colors, typography and consistent brand usage.

 

The brand re-fresh creates a unique opportunity to unite our history with a collaborative and strategic look to the future. Built around our core values and serving as a guidepost for the future, this brand re-fresh unites the district visually, providing something for everyone in the district (staff, faculty, community, students, alumni) to connect with; bringing the look into modern day, while still giving a nod to the history and nostalgia of our storied past. 

 

The Fairborn City School District worked collaboratively with Fairborn graduate and co-owner of Boom Crate Studios, Kelly Mercer, and a team of Fairborn stakeholders to develop the brand re-fresh. The team included members from the Fairborn Board of Education, alumni, building administration, teachers and students to ensure representation and alignment with the future goals of Fairborn City Schools from multiple perspectives.

 

Our story is an important one, and with the construction of new schools, and the opening of the new High School in 2024, this brand re-fresh is timely, and exciting. 

“The coordination and creation of the district brand is very important for our schools. Staff members and community members will be able to utilize the branding guide and logos for all types of school uses including apparel, signage, newsletters, awards and so much more. All of the information will be shared on the Fairborn City Schools’ website for school/community use.  We are very proud of the hard work of the team and honored that a Fairborn graduate led our efforts” states Pam Gayheart, Director of Public Relations and Grants.
