Fairborn Board of Education message to staff and community:

Good morning! During these trying times we hope that this message finds each of you safe and healthy.  We are seeing the very best in our staff and families as we navigate this new reality for all of us.  As we move forward, we want you all to know that we appreciate everything you are doing to keep education at the fore for all of our students.  We face challenges-but we will rise together and continue to support each other until we can all be together again.

Thank you to all of the Fairborn City Schools’ staff members for all you are doing to help create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.  Thank you to our custodians, cafeteria, maintenance and transportation staff for your continued efforts during this time.  Thank you to our secretaries who are working hard to keep everything going. From creating online work to reaching out to individual students-your creativity and strength are unwavering. Thank you for continuing to put students first and for working hard to reach out and be present in their lives.  Thank you to the volunteers who are working at our food sites each week to provide food for our students. Our commitment to their well-being is critical during this time.   We also want to thank all of the staff members who are creating personalized videos which are shared via social media-to reach out and talk to our students and families. Your voice and messages are important now so that our students can see you and know that you are thinking about them every day.  You are doing a great job and we appreciate your efforts.

As we continue to work each day in new and challenging circumstances, the Fairborn Board of Education is with you every step of the way. We will continue to work on behalf of the Fairborn community-our community-families and children who are counting on us to do our very best for the education of our youth.   We will continue to communicate and we want you each to know that we are with you and we will get through this together. There is nothing stronger than our commitment to each other. Our Skyhawk Spirit is alive and well. Be sure to reach out if you need help. Email or send a message-or pick up the phone. We will be here for you.
