Construction is underway in Fairborn, where a new middle school is coming for Fairborn City Schools.

Thank you to Associated Program Manager Ryan Meeds for these photos of early site work. This new 152,293-square-foot school, which will be located next to the new Fairborn High School, will serve more than 1,000 students in grades 6-8 when it opens in summer 2027.

Early work at the site includes:

     • Completion of the building pad – the level surface where construction begins

     • Installation of stone to prepare for foundations to be laid

     • Development of a temporary laydown lot area created for staging materials and equipment

     • Storm structures being delivered soon

     • Water loop installation happening soon

     • Cut/fill operations and development of detention areas ongoing
