Performing, Visual, and Musical Arts: Fairborn City Schools offers consistent and exploratory arts programs from PreK all the way through a student's senior year of high school. We offer weekly art classes at the elementary level, daily art electives at Baker Middle School, and numerous art electives at FHS. This is in addition to numerous clubs and after school activities. In addition to visual arts, the Fairborn Music Department consistently performs in the top tier of competitions and performances, most recently winning "Best Director" in the entire Miami Valley region for the high school production of the musical, "Grease". We offer orchestra, band, and choir (with many different options within those three basic competencies).
College Credit Plus: CCP is a program offered through the State of Ohio offering our students the opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking courses from Ohio colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to enhance students' career readiness and postsecondary success, while providing a wide variety of options to college-ready students, at no or limited costs to students and families.
