FCS seeking input from parents via survey
Dear Families,

We are seeking your input on Learning Recovery &  Extended Learning for closing the achievement gap as a result of COVID disruptions to learning.

The COVID pandemic has taken a toll on academic progress, as demonstrated in the Ohio Department of Education’s fall 2020 enrollment report.  Governor DeWine asked school districts to work with their communities to help students advance and make up for any learning that may have been lost or delayed because of the pandemic.

Governor DeWine also requested that school districts design plans to meet the needs of the students in their districts that may include summer programs, 2021-2022 school year programs, tutoring, or remote options. School districts should provide their plans to the public and General Assembly no later than April 1.

We are seeking the input of our staff and community to help develop this plan as we move forward and try to close the gap in learning created by COVID.

Consider this a brainstorming survey and not an obligation of services for students or staff.  There will be future communication on available options selected for the plan and plan implementation.

Please complete the short survey by Monday, March 8, 2021
