 Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) Program Updates: On May 12, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Purdue announced that Ohio has been approved to operate Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT). Administered by the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services, the P-EBT program provides additional monetary assistance to households with children eligible for free or reduced-price meals dealing with school closures.  Click here to view flyer.

Good morning Fairborn families! Food distribution is up and running this morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the following locations:
Fairborn Primary School parking lot
Fairborn Intermediate School parking lot near the MPR
Baker Middle School near the auditorium
Fairborn YMCA parking lot
*Please be sure to keep 6 ft. distance-
See you this morning! Please note: Food distribution takes place on Mondays/Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. On Monday, you receive food bags to get you through Wednesday. On Wednesday, you receive food bags to get you through Friday.

Update Friday, March 20, 2020:

Fairborn City Schools’  food distribution for duration of school closure:

Food will be supplied on Mondays and Wednesdays of each week.  On Mondays-families will receive two bags (for Monday and Tuesday). On Wednesday-families will receive three bags (for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday). Bags include breakfast and lunch items.

Please note: children must be present in order to receive food items.

Together, we can keep each other safe and healthy. Please take every precaution possible and adhere to CDC and Ohio State Government guidance. Wash your hands, wash all clothing and backpacks, avoid groups larger than 10 people, and please stay home if at all possible.

 Updated Wednesday, March 18, 2020:

 Important Update Regarding the Fairborn City Schools Student Nutrition Distribution:

We are transitioning student lunch distribution to a more efficient and accessible system. Beginning tomorrow, we will be passing meals out twice weekly.

This means that beginning next week, we will pass out two lunches per student on Mondays and then pass out three lunches per student on Wednesdays. Food distribution will only occur on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Tomorrow is Thursday, March 19. We will pass out two meals per child tomorrow, which accounts for lunch on Thursday and lunch on Friday.

Together, we can keep each other safe and healthy. Please take every precaution possible and adhere to CDC and Ohio State Government guidance. Wash your hands, wash all clothing and backpacks, avoid groups larger than 10 people, and please stay home if at all possible.

Fairborn Primary School parking lot (regular student drop off area) 10:00-12:00

Fairborn Intermediate School parking lot (MPR door (look for awning) drive in from Maple to Dellwood) 10:00-12:00

Baker Middle School (in front of the ROCK drive through area)
10:00-12:00

YMCA parking lot (10:00-12:00)

*Please note: We have removed the Mayer Law office site and the Abiding Christ site. Food will still be available during the duration of the closure at the other locations.

A bag with breakfast and lunch items will be provided per child at each location. Please note-the bags MUST be picked up by children (bags will not be given to adults without children). Food bag service begins Tuesday, March 17th through Friday, April 4th.
