FCS District 12 month calendars are in! You can pick up your calendar at the Fairborn Board of Education office, 306 E. Whitter Avenue daily from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Calendars will also be available at the Fairborn Sweet Corn Festival on August 20th and 21st at Community Park!

Bus Route Information: Updated August 19, 2022

Students who attend Greene County Career Center:
If you are riding the bus from FHS-you must be at the high school by 6:45 a.m. The bus must leave by 6:50 a.m. to get to all career center routes. This stop is a courtesy stop-all students have a dedicated route for the Career Center. Please be sure to set your clocks as this impacts transportation to the Career Center. FCS truly appreciates your attention to this very important matter.
Due to construction delays at the Fairborn Intermediate School site, the district worked together to change the calendar so that all buildings will start on September 6, 2022 (PreK-K start on September 9, 2022) and the last day for students will be May 26, 2023 which is a scheduled early release. We believe the consistency in opening all buildings is helpful for both families and staff as you navigate child care and other planning issues. The district also had to work with the Transportation Department to plan accordingly.
The start/end times are as follows:
Fairborn Primary Students: Doors open at 8:35 a.m.- Tardy Bell: 8:49 a.m.-End of Day: 3:25 p.m.
Fairborn Intermediate Students: Doors open at 7:50 a.m. -Tardy Bell: 8:05 a.m.-End of Day: 2:46 p.m.
Baker Middle School Students: Doors open at 7:30 a.m. -Tardy Bell: 7:40 a.m.- End of Day: 3:01 p.m.
Fairborn High School Students: Doors open at 7:00 a.m. Tardy Bell: 7:15 a.m.- End of Day: 2:31 p.m.
*Early release every Monday (Primary/Intermediate-45 minutes and Middle/High School-40 minutes)

FHS Open House: Monday, September 12, 2022 from 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
**Greene County Career Center Shuttle: Students will need to be at Fairborn High School by 7:00 a.m. to ride the shuttle to the Career Center at 7:05 a.m.
