We are excited to let you know that Fairborn High School will be offering Computer Science (CS) courses starting this coming school year! This coursework will start with a basic CS class and move up to advanced coursework through a series of (4) classes. What type of work is in the Computer Science field? Glad you asked! Below are some areas in which CS applications can land you in a great employment opportunity.

- Computer Programming

- Network Administrator
- Computer and Information Systems
- Artificial Intelligence
These are just a fraction of possibilities in fields with CS knowledge. Salaries for individuals with a Computer Science degree can earn anywhere from a starting range of $60,000 up to $160,000 in certain fields. Not interested in following the CS pathway? That's alright, start the pathway and earn your Alg 2 credit OR a credit towards an advanced science (excluding Biology or Life Sciences) credit*.
*students choosing to earn a credit under these rules must take an Advanced Computer Science Course
