Boo! Interested in scaring the socks off your friends? Creative Writing club will meet today in room 130 from 2:40-3:30. Join us in crafting spooooky stories! Everyone is welcome to attend. Email Ms. Conrad [email protected] with any questions. Be sure to have a ride ready to pick you up.
If you are a 7th or 8th grader interested in wrestling, there will be open mats Tuesdays and Thursdays starting next week after school from 3pm to 4:30pm. Meet in the cafeteria with Mr. Jones. Mrs. Elliott’s Access group is canceled for today. Please go to your Access class as usual.
Yesterday in Access students should have received a form for their parents/guardians to complete and return to school no later than Friday, November 13, 2026. This form is for Federal Impact Aid. These are federal monies that Fairborn City Schools can receive for each student that is qualified. These qualifications are as follows: students whose parents are active military OR work on Wright Patterson Air Force Base OR live in Wright Patterson Air Force Base Housing/The Woods. Each student is required to complete the form and return it to their Access teacher. Please let Mrs. Fauzey know if you have any questions.

The Fairborn Cross Country team did great on Saturday at the Northmont meet. Cyrus Kilburn got top 25 out of 229 athletes, with a 2 mile time of 12:16. The boys team all had a personal record as well.

Are you interested in joining the FMS Chapter of The National Junior Honor Society? Information packets and applications may be picked up in the FMS office. Membership in NJHS is only for 7th and 8th grade students that maintain a “B” average or better in all classes and for students who show excellent behavior at FMS. If you are a 6th grade student, you will have the opportunity to apply next school year. All NJHS application forms must be turned in to the main office no later than Wednesday, October 14th. Please contact Mr. Cummings with any questions you may have.
The first school dance will be a costume dance and will be held on Friday, October 30th from 3-5. Tickets will be on sale for $5 the week prior to the dance. Only FMS students may attend. In order to be eligible to purchase tickets you must have completed Final Forms and not have been assigned any ISI or OSS for the month of October. If you have any questions see Ms. Patrick.
