A beloved member of our Fairborn Skyhawks family has passed away. Shannon Kallmeyer, English teacher at Fairborn High School, passed away yesterday. Ms. Kallmeyer was employed in the Fairborn City School District for twelve years and taught English at both Baker Middle School and Fairborn High School. We extend our deepest condolences to her family and all of her friends.
At this time, the district has counselors available at Fairborn High School for both students and staff as we come together to support one another and deal with this loss.
The district will provide more information as it becomes available.
