Wright Scholar Research Assistant position-WPAFB

The Wright Scholar program is a highly competitive program for high school
juniors and seniors, and those who are selected, will work with an AFRL
scientist or engineer on a mentor-assigned project during the summer
following their junior/senior year of high school.  During the 9-week paid
internship, students not only gain meaningful work experience, but will be
exposed to various disciplines of engineering and science through
classes/workshops/tours at the University of Dayton, Wright State
University, and The Ohio State University. Participants also tour
places of interest
like the AF Museum and various AFRL labs, as well as host weekly lecture
series speakers including prominent scientists and engineers who share their
expertise. The program truly brings a wealth of information regarding future
careers in STEM fields.
