FHS Mr. Riffle honored in "My Favorite Teacher" contest from Barnes and Noble
   

Pam McGill, Community Business Relations Manager at the Beavercreek Barnes and Noble presented award today to Mr. Riffle!

  Barnes & Nobles across the country – over 640 stores - conduct an annual “My Favorite Teacher” contest.  High school and middle school students are asked to write an essay about their favorite teacher.

Our store’s winning selection was chosen based on the following:

*Compelling nature of the teacher’s inspiring qualities

*Sincerity of the student’s appreciation

*Quality of expression and writing

This year we are happy to announce Gabrielle Kovachich won best essay when she honored Mr. Riffle, a Social Studies teacher at Fairborn High School.

Gabrielle’s essay will compete at the district level then on to regionals with the national winning essay winning $5,000 for the teacher and a matching $5,000 for their school. We would like to congratulate Gabrielle and

Mr. Riffle as this year’s “My Favorite Teacher” award winners!
