Hello! Welcome to Fairborn City Schools' Home of the Skyhawks! Our district is committed to open, honest, thorough communication with the Fairborn community. We believe this type of communication provides a better understanding of our district operations and educational programs.  It is my responsibility to keep the community informed about the Fairborn City School district. To assist in this endeavor I am responsible for the following:

*Produce publications (Hawk News, brochures)
*Maintain district website/social media
*District sports schedules
*Media Releases for local newspapers, television, radio
*Media liaison for school district
*Public requests for information and new resident requests for information
*Grants assistance for teachers
*Scheduling/messaging for school cable channel 6
*Community events/service liaison
*District calendar production
*Fairborn 4th of July Parade/Homecoming Parade

The purpose of the Office of Public Relations is to provide the Fairborn community, Fairborn families, and incoming families with information about the Fairborn City School district. The Fairborn City School district works with the following to communicate:

*E-Communication
Your mobile communication in real time! Sign up for Fairborn E-Communication by visiting the FCS website and click on "E-Communication" under Quick Links.  Messages will be sent to your mobile communication device minutes after message is sent.  This communication is excellent for school closings, delays, and emergencies!

*School cable channel 6
-Watch school cable channel 6 for general information, school closings and delays, academic programs, music and athletic programs, and the district Hawk News program which highlights district achievements, personnel, and activities. You will also be able to view the Fairborn Intermediate School (grades 4-5) news program and “Baker Week in Review” our middle school news program.

The Fairborn City Schools news and improved website provides important and up-to-the minute information about the district. The news area on the main page will provide information that parents and incoming families will find useful. For incoming military families; please visit the “Welcome Military Families” sight for our district information.  Be sure to watch school cable channel 6 which streams live on our website!

The Fairborn City School district works with the Fairborn Daily Herald and the Dayton Daily News to highlight Fairborn schools with information and achievements. The Fairborn Daily Herald has a Monday school page which features information and events in the Fairborn City School district. The Dayton Daily News “Greene County Neighbors” section has information about the district. If you live in Forest Ridge, look for information in the Forest Ridge Murmurs, your neighborhood newsletter. For our friends at WPAFB, you will find information in the Skywrighter newspaper!
